About our Road Blockers
Originally designed for embassies, bullion stores, military bases and other maximum security locations, road blockers are now very popular at commercial sites as they provide the ultimate in access control provision. Our road blockers have been designed and tested to the highest specification and are capable of withstanding the impact of any road-going vehicle, thus offering a highly effective ram-raid deterrent.
Features
- Electro hydraulic mechanism capable of rising and lowering the blocker in just 5 seconds, despite its heavy-duty construction
- Available in widths of 2 to 5 metres (other lengths available upon request)
- Available with a rising height of 350, 500 and 800 millimetres
- Fully welded, pit-mounted road blocker case comes complete with reinforcement struts for maximum attack protection
- Road blocker wedge comes complete with reinforcement struts and a reinforced 10mm thick anti-skid attack face
- Available in a range of colour-coded enamel paint finishes or in standard galvanised steel finish
- Steel work is treated and primed with a final topcoat of water- and weather-resistant paint
Access Control Interface
Road blockers can be fitted with a multi-function logic system, enabling interface with a range of access control systems such as:
- card swipe systems
- coin/token systems
- digital keypads
- induction loops
- proximity readers
- push button or remote control
Optional Accessories
